Pediatric Day Treatment Centers for Medically Fragile Children (PPEC)

Medical day care may be covered under your payer if your child has a medical condition that requires the skills of a registered nurse. We accept all payers including Medicaid and Private Pay. A doctor's order for PPEC services is required. Children appropriate for treatment could include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Previous pediatric experience and/or fulfill our multiple level 'medically stable to complex' pediatric care training programs
• Successfully completed written and skill-demonstration competency tests
• Current state licenses
• Criminal, background/drug & child abuse clearance
• CPR/Emergency/First Aid Training & Certification
• Multiple Reference Checks
• Continuous Competency Evaluations and In-Service Testing

• Extended Care, Monday-Friday
• 8-12 Hours a Day
• Transportation - qualifications required
• Daily & Monthly Progress Assessments
