Krizelly is a miracle from above. She came to us at 2 months old, weighing only 5 pounds and in need of skilled nursing visits due to multiple cardiac anomalies, developmental delays, and a newly placed gastrostomy tube. Krizelly then transitioned into private duty nursing, where she met her wonderful nurse, Laura. Less than three months later, Krizelly began to have apneic episodes, which led to many months in the hospital, multiple procedures, surgeries, and treatments.
After Krizelly’s health status was stable, she was finally sent home where she reunited, not only with her family, but also with her nurse, Laura. Krizelly has overcome mountains of obstacles, yet her spirit and personality will never reveal it. Krizelly’s family has been with her every step of the way, especially her mom. Twenty-five pounds later, Krizelly continues to surprise her nurses, family, and physicians with the remarkable strides she has made in her healthcare journey. As a PSA family, we could not be more grateful to be part of her miraculous progress!
